Amer Sports, Inc.

Amer Sports, Inc. (AS) was a new addition to the High-Growth Investments Buy List in the September Monthly Issue. If you recall, Amer Sports aims to be a leader in premium sports and outdoor brands, as it currently offers several iconic brands, including Arc’teryx, Salomon, Wilson, Atomic, ATEC, Armada, DeMarini, EvoShield and Peak Performance.

That represents 71.4% year-over-year earnings growth and 27.7% year-over-year earnings growth. Robinhood Markets, Inc.

Robinhood Markets, Inc. (HOOD) was our third addition to the High-Growth Investments Buy List in the September Monthly Issue. The company’s platform for trading stocks grew in popularity during 2020, as it helped “empower a new generation of investors” who used their free time during the pandemic to dabble in the financial markets.

What’s interesting about Robinhood’s platform is that it also enables folks to trade all of the popular cryptocurrencies at the lowest cost on average in the U.S. So, it’s benefiting from the Trump administration’s efforts to make the U.S. a cryptocurrency trading leader.

During the second quarter, Robinhood noted that its monthly active users increased to 12.8 million – which, in turn, boosted its top and bottom lines.

Second-quarter revenue jumped 45% year-over-year to $927 million, while earnings more than doubled year-over-year to $386 million, or $0.42 per share. Adjusted earnings were $0.50 per share, which beat the consensus estimate of $0.35 per share by 42.9%.

I should add that analysts have increased third-quarter earnings estimates by 54.5% in the past two months alone. Third-quarter earnings are now forecast to soar 96.2% year-over-year to $0.51 per share, compared to $0.26 per share in the same quarter a year ago. HOOD is a Moderately Aggressive buy below $149.
