Barrick Mining Corporation
Barrick Mining Corporation (B) was a new addition to the High-Growth Investments Buy List in the February Monthly Issue. The company is a leading global producer of gold and copper, with operations in some of the world’s most prolific gold and copper districts. During the fourth quarter, Barrick Mining produced 871,000 ounces of gold and 62,000 tonnes of copper.
Fourth-quarter revenue rose 45% year-over-year to $6 billion, and adjusted earnings soared 79.3% year-over-year to $1.04 per share. The consensus estimate called for revenue of $5.17 billion and adjusted earnings of $0.88 per share, so Barrick Mining posted a 16.1% revenue surprise and an 18.2% earnings surprise.
Looking forward, Barrick Mining expects full-year 2026 gold production between 2.9 million and 3.25 million ounces, compared to 2025 gold production of 3.26 million ounces. The company also expects to produce between 190,000 tonnes and 220,000 tonnes of copper in 2026.
Following the strong fourth-quarter results, analysts have upped first-quarter earnings estimates in the past week. First-quarter earnings are now forecast to surge 137.1% year-over-year to $0.83 per share, and revenue is expected to increase 64.2% year-over-year to $5.14 billion. B is a Conservative buy below $56.

Elbit Systems Ltd.
Elbit Systems Ltd. (ESLT) is an Israeli defense contractor that offers a wide range of systems and products – air, land and naval – for defense, homeland security and commercial applications. And demand for its systems and products has driven its backlog to a robust $25.2 billion, primarily due to an increase in European orders.
Recently, Elbit Systems secured a $277 million contract for UT30 MK2 turrets and ammo. The three-year contract comes on the heels of several other contracts valued at $435 million. So, Elbit Systems secured $712 million in contracts in just two days.
Now, Elbit Systems will announce fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 results on March 17 – and I suspect strong demand for its systems and products added to its top and bottom lines.
The consensus estimate currently calls for fourth-quarter earnings of $2.66 per share and revenue of $2.09 billion, which represents 18% year-over-year earnings growth and 8.3% year-over-year revenue growth. For its fiscal year 2025, analysts expect 40.6% annual earnings growth and 15.7% annual revenue growth. ESLT is a Conservative buy below $835.
