Weekly – Sellers met the upside breakout and pushed it back down below the resistance line. Trade pressures are up but showing divergence. Volumes have changed from bearish to neutral.

Daily – Flat. In a retracement move down from the 2.76 short level after nearly reaching the 2.86 target. Trade pressures are down. Volumes have turned bearish from bullish.

At the first down side target of 2.65. Expect some consolidation here.

The next target down is 2.53.

Weekly – Gold has broken thru the weekly upside resistance to form a new uptrend. Trade pressures are up but getting extended. Volumes remain bullish.

Daily – Flat. Still in the move up from the 1168 level started in January. Trade pressures are up but showing some divergence. Volumes are still bullish.

After some consolidation at the 1235 level price moved up in anticipation of the next Tuesday speech.

The next target up is 1302.

A close below 1216 could signal lower.
